I’m a dog owner but actually I am a 4 Legged Kid parent. A dog owner can relate to this statement, “A fenced in back yard is a wonderful thing” but, if there is mud in your yard, I guarantee your dog will find it. Wet muddy paws will be waiting at your door, tail wagging, let me in. I was prepared with two towels always by my door. Until the muddy paws were so bad that dog wipes and dog towels were no match. Carrying a 60lb dog with muddy paws to the bath tub was no fun either but was often required. I tried keeping the dog nails trimmed, blocking off wet muddy areas in yard, and using more mulch. It helped but did not resolve the problem.

I tried a variety of dog boots, paw coverings, and dog shoes. The results for both were the same.
Took awhile for the dog to get accustom to it, not dog friendly, hard to put on the dog’s paws,
didn’t stay on the paw, or the dog pulled it off with his teeth. When it did do its job, I still had to clean the dog boots. I might as well go back to the messy dog towels. There was nothing in my back yard that required paw protection just mud and water on rainy days. All I wanted was to keep my dog’s feet clean and not have my carpet soiled with mud and paw prints.
